Regulations Governing the Supervision of Insurance Solicitors Article 2
For the purposes of these Regulations, the following terms shall have the following meanings:1. Solicitor: means an insurance solicitor as set forth under Article 8-1 of the Act.2. Bank: means a bank approved by the competent authority to engage concurrently in either insurance agent or insurance broker business.3. Employing company: means an insurance enterprise, an insurance agent company, an insurance broker company, or a bank.4. Appropriate industry association: refers to either the Non-Life Insurance Association of the Republic of China or the Life Insurance Association of the Republic of China. 5. Engaging in the same type of insurance business: means both employing companies engage in non-life insurance or life insurance.

本規則所用名詞定義如下：
一、業務員：指本法第八條之一規定之保險業務員。
二、銀行：指經主管機關許可擇一兼營保險代理人或保險經紀人業務之銀行。
三、所屬公司：指保險業、保險代理人公司、保險經紀人公司及銀行。
四、各有關公會：指中華民國產物保險商業同業公會及中華民國人壽保險商業同業公會。
五、經營同類保險業務：指所經營之業務同為財產保險或同為人身保險。
