The term "independent agent" as used in these Regulations means a person who practices insurance agency business in his or her own name.The term "agent company" as used in these Regulations means a company operating insurance agency business in the capacity of a corporate organization.The term “bank” as used in these Regulations means a bank operating concurrently insurance agent business with approval of the competent authority.

本規則所稱個人執業代理人，指以個人名義執行保險代理業務之人。
本規則所稱代理人公司，指以公司組織經營保險代理業務之公司。
本規則所稱銀行，指經主管機關許可兼營保險代理業務之銀行。
