An insurance agent/broker company shall save a backup copy of the electronic record on consumer’s selection or consent.The retention period for the backup copy mentioned in the preceding paragraph shall not be less than five (5) years after the insurance contract has expired or after the insurance company has notified the applicant of its decision not to underwrite the insurance.
