The Banking Act of The Republic of China Article 140
This Act shall come into force from the date of promulgation.The effective date of Article 42 amended and promulgated on May 7, 1996 shall be prescribed by the Executive Yuan; The articles amended on May 5, 2006 shall come into force from July 1, 2006.
