Negotiable Instruments Act Article 19
In the event of loss of a negotiable instrument, the obligee may file a petition for public summons.After initiating the public summons procedure, the petitioner may, upon providing the required security, demand payment of the sum payable by the lost instrument if it is overdue. If the petitioner is not in a position to provide the required security, they may request that the sum payable by the lost instrument be deposited in accordance with law. If the lost instrument is not yet due, the petitioner may, upon providing the required security, request the issuance of a substitute instrument.

票據喪失時，票據權利人得為公示催告之聲請。
公示催告程序開始後，其經到期之票據，聲請人得提供擔保，請求票據金額之支付；不能提供擔保時，得請求將票據金額依法提存。
其尚未到期之票據，聲請人得提供擔保，請求給與新票據。
