Negotiable Instruments Act Article 10
A person who signs a negotiable instrument as an agent without authorization from the person on whose behalf they purport to act shall be personally liable for the instrument.If an agent acts beyond the scope of their authority with respect to a negotiable instrument, they shall be personally liable for the instrument to the extent to which they exceed their authority.

無代理權而以代理人名義簽名於票據者，應自負票據上之責任。
代理人逾越權限時，就其權限外之部分，亦應自負票據上之責任。
