Act Governing the Conversion of Currency Units Used in Existing Laws and Regulations into New Taiwan Dollars Article 2
If the currency unit for a monetary amount specified in existing laws or regulations is Yuan (圓), Silver Yuan (銀元), or Yuan (元), multiply the monetary amount by three to convert the currency unit into New Taiwan Dollars.
