The Financial Institutions Merger Act Article 2
Mergers of financial institutions shall be governed by this Act.Mergers of non-corporation financial institutions shall be effected in accordance with this Act. In addition, the provisions regarding mergers of companies limited by shares under the Business Mergers And Acquisitions Act shall apply mutatis mutandis.Where a financial institution is merged by its receiver or liquidator in accordance with other laws, such other laws shall apply to the merging procedures on a priority basis.

金融機構之合併，依本法之規定。
非屬公司組織金融機構之合併，除依本法規定外，並準用企業併購法有關股份有限公司合併之規定。
金融機構依其他法律規定由接管人或清理人為合併者，其合併之程序優先適用各該法律之規定。
