Deposit Insurance Act Article 9
The CDIC shall be liable for any damage arising from an intentional or negligent act of the responsible persons and employees of the CDIC acting within the scope of fulfilling insurance responsibilities or bank failure resolutions according to the Act, which infringes upon the right of any other person.Should the damage referred to in the preceding Paragraph result from an intentional or grossly negligent act of the responsible persons and employees of the CDIC, the CDIC shall have the right to claim reimbursement from the responsible person.

存保公司之負責人及職員，依本條例規定履行保險責任或執行清理業務時，因故意或過失不法侵害他人權利者，存保公司應負損害賠償責任。
前項情形，負責人及職員有故意或重大過失時，存保公司對之有求償權。
