Regulations Governing Custody and Investment of Funds by Securities Firms on Behalf of Customers Article 12
When a securities firm keeps custody of and invests funds on behalf of customers and a customer requires funds for settlement payments, the securities firm shall dispose the relevant investment instruments in accordance with the order of priority stipulated with the customer, transfer the settlement price into the securities firm's cash management account, and make the settlement for the customers.

證券商辦理客戶委託保管及運用其款項業務，於客戶有支應交割款項之資金需求時，應依與客戶約定之動用順序，處理相關運用標的，並將價金撥入證券商現金管理專戶後，為客戶辦理交割。
