Securities and Exchange Act Article 173
Any person who offers, promises, or delivers any improper benefit to any person under the preceding article for a breach of their duties shall be punished with imprisonment for not more than three years, detention, and/or a criminal fine of not more than NT$1.8 million.The punishment for an offense under the preceding paragraph may be remitted if the offender voluntarily surrenders themselves.

對於前條人員關於違背職務之行為，行求期約或交付不正利益者，處三年以下有期徒刑、拘役或科或併科新臺幣一百八十萬元以下罰金。
犯前項之罪而自首者，得免除其刑。
