Regulations Governing Futures Commission Merchants Article 31
When engaging in futures brokerage trading for a customer, a futures commission merchant shall establish an account for the customer, which shall include the following information regarding the principal:1. name, domicile or residence, and mailing address;2. occupation and age;3. status of assets;4. investment experience;5. reason(s) for opening the account; and6. other necessary information.The futures commission merchant shall keep confidential the information referred to in the preceding paragraph unless disclosure is required for inquiries made in accordance with acts and regulations.

期貨商受託從事期貨交易，應對客戶編列開戶帳號，並建立下列資料：
一、姓名、住所或居所及通訊處所。
二、職業及年齡。
三、資產之狀況。
四、投資經驗。
五、開戶原因。
六、其他必要之事項。
期貨商對前項之資料，除應依法令所為之查詢外，應予保密。
