Organic Act of the Mainland Affairs Council Article 7
The Council may establish overseas administrative offices according to operation needs. The relevant rules governing the appointment, discharge, and transfer, directing and supervision, and remuneration and benefits of the diplomatic personnel shall be applicable mutatis mutandis to personnel of the Council’s overseas administrative offices. The articles of organization thereof shall be proposed by the Council and submitted to the Executive Yuan for approval.

本會得視業務需要，於境外設辦事機構，並得準用駐外機構任免遷調、指揮監督、待遇福利等相關規定辦理；其組織規程，由本會擬訂，報請行政院核定之。
