The Implementation Regulation for the Management of Electronic Storage of Records Article 8
Before the process of the electronic storage for videotapes/tapes records, they shall be examined. If they are damaged, they shall be restored immediately.During the process of the electronic storage under the preceding paragraph, write protection tab on the videotapes/tapes shall be turned off and the videotapes/tapes shall be rewinded to the beginning to avoid damaging the content.

錄影（音）帶類檔案進行電子儲存前，應進行檢查；有損壞者，應即修復。
辦理前項電子儲存時，應將錄影（音）帶之防誤抹孔關閉並倒帶至起點，以避免損及內容。
