The Implementation Regulations for Archives Stored on Microfilm Article 2
The terms used in the Regulations are defined as follows: 1."Microfilming" shall mean reducing archives on silver halide films or other long-preservation films by photograph. 2."Original" shall mean records for Microfilming by photography. 3."Microfilm Master" shall mean the microfilm photographed directly from the Original. 4."Microfilm Duplicate" shall mean the microfilm copied from Microfilm Master. 5."Frame" shall mean the image exposed once on camera from the microfilm. 6."Certification" shall mean the procedures to prove the content of the archives on microfilms or their duplications are the same as those on the originals.

本辦法用詞定義如下：
一、微縮：指使用攝影方法，將檔案縮攝於鹵化銀底片或其他適於長久保存底片之程序。
二、原始文件：指供微縮作業所拍攝之檔案。
三、微縮母片：指由原始文件直接攝製之微縮片。
四、微縮副片：指由微縮母片複製之微縮片。
五、影幅：指微縮片在攝影機內經一次曝光所得之影像。
六、確認：指檔案管理機關證明微縮檔案及其複製品內容與原始檔案內容相同之程序。
