Act for Establishment and Administration of Science Parks Article 1
This "Act for Establishment and Administration of Science Parks" is duly enacted in an effort to introduce high-tech industries and scientific and technological professionals and to strengthen regional innovation integration momentum, in an eye to elevate innovation of domestic high-tech industries.Pursuant to this Act, the competent authority may choose appropriate venues and report to the Executive Yuan for approval to set up a science park (hereinafter referred to as "the park").

為引進高級技術產業及科學技術人才，提升區域創新整合能量，以激勵國內產業技術之研究創新，並促進高級技術之產業發展，特制定本條例。
主管機關依本條例之規定，得選擇適當地點，報請行政院核定設置科學園區（以下簡稱園區）。
