The Motion Picture Act Article 13
Motion picture screening establishments shall, within one year of this amended Act’s May 22, 2015 promulgation, set up a computerized box-office statistics system and provide information from said system to the central competent authority or a legal person, group, or organization concerned with motion pictures designated by the central competent authority.The central competent authority may provide funding to motion picture screening establishments to help defray the cost of equipment and facilities connected to the installation of a computerized box-office statistics system.

電影片映演業應於本法中華民國一百零四年五月二十二日修正之條文施行之日起一年內，建置電腦票房統計系統，並提供票房統計相關資料予中央主管機關及其指定電影相關法人、團體或機構。
中央主管機關得補助電影片映演業建置電腦票房統計系統之設備或器材相關費用。
