Public Television Act Article 37
News programming shall:1. be clearly distinguished from commentaries and include no personal views of the reporter;2. be accurate, objective, and fair; not distort or conceal important facts, or influence the viewers' judgment through suggestive means; and3. include information on important international, national, and local events.

新聞報導節目，應遵守下列規定：
一、新聞報導節目應與評論明顯區分，不得加入報導者個人意見。
二、新聞報導內容應確實、客觀、公正，不得歪曲或隱飾重要事實，不得以暗示方法影響收視者判斷。
三、新聞報導應兼顧國際性、全國性及地方性重要事件之資訊。
