The regulations for examination of qualification to excavate on archaeological sites Article 13
The competent authority may inspect and supervise the excavation of archaeological site; and stop the excavation if any of the following situations happens:1. The excavation has expired without extending approval.2. The excavation goes beyond the approved excavation area.3. The excavation does not follow the planned excavation procedure or method.4. With other situations that the competent authority deems necessary.

主管機關得對考古遺址之發掘，進行檢查及監督；如發現有下列情形之一，得令其停止：
一、屆滿發掘期限而未獲准延長者。
二、逾越發掘範圍者。
三、違反發掘程序或方法者。
四、其他經主管機關認定有必要者。
