Cultural Heritage Preservation Act Article 69
Public antiquities shall be managed and conserved by the government agencies (institutions) having custody of them in accordance with the regulations which shall be stipulated by the central competent authority.The antiquity custodian agencies (institutions) under the preceding paragraph shall catalogue antiquities placed in their custody, stipulate the regulations for management and protection of the antiquities, and file the catalogues with the competent authorities for recordation.

公有古物，由保存管理之政府機關（構）管理維護，其辦法由中央主管機關訂定之。
前項保管機關（構）應就所保管之古物，建立清冊，並訂定管理維護相關規定，報主管機關備查。
