Cultural Fundamental Act Article 1
This Act is specially drafted to protect the cultural rights of the people, expand cultural participation, realize multiculturalism, promote the development of many cultures, and set fundamental principles and a policy direction for national cultural development.This Act shall apply for cultural matters except where otherwise provided for in law.

為保障人民文化權利，擴大文化參與，落實多元文化，促進文化多樣發展，並確立國家文化發展基本原則及施政方針，特制定本法。
