Basic Environment Act Article 5
Citizens must uphold the concept of environmental protection and reduce the environmental impact caused by daily life. In terms of consumption behavior, green consumption is the principle. In daily life, waste must be reduced, sorted and recycled.Citizens must take the initiative to protect the environment and have the responsibility to assist the government in implementing environmental protection measures.

國民應秉持環境保護理念，減輕因日常生活造成之環境負荷。
消費行為上，以綠色消費為原則；日常生活上，應進行廢棄物減量、分類及回收。
