Regulations Governing Motor Vehicle Air Pollutant and Noise Emission Testing Organizations Article 11
The testing categories and items for permits applications by testing organizations are as followings:Ⅰ. Air pollutant emission testing categories for gasoline engine vehicles and clean alternative fuel engine vehicles.Ⅱ. Air pollutant emission testing categories for diesel engine vehicles and clean alternative fuel engine vehicles.Ⅲ. Motorcycle air pollutant emission testing categories.Ⅳ. Motor vehicle noise testing categories.Ⅴ. Other testing categories officially announced by the central competent authority.The foregoing testing categories and items shall be limited to those controlled items regulated by the Air Pollution Prevention Act and the Noise Control Act and those items listed in the standard testing methods announced by the central competent authority or those items announced by central competent authority.

測定機構申請許可證之測定類別如下：
一、汽油及替代清潔燃料引擎汽車排放空氣污染物測定類。
二、柴油及替代清潔燃料引擎汽車排放空氣污染物測定類。
三、機車排放空氣污染物測定類。
四、機動車輛噪音測定類。
五、其他經中央主管機關公告之測定類別。
前項各款測定類別之項目，以空氣污染防制法及噪音管制法規定之管制項目及中央主管機關已公告測定方法之項目或其他經中央主管機關公告之項目為限。
一、汽油及替代清潔燃料引擎汽車排放空氣污染物測定類。
二、柴油及替代清潔燃料引擎汽車排放空氣污染物測定類。
三、機車排放空氣污染物測定類。
四、機動車輛噪音測定類。
五、其他經中央主管機關公告之測定類別。
前項各款測定類別之項目，以空氣污染防制法及噪音管制法規定之管制項目及中央主管機關已公告測定方法之項目或其他經中央主管機關公告之項目為限。
