Where the main unit or data acquisition and processing system of an automatic monitoring (surveillance) facility or electronic electricity meter installed in accordance with these Regulations is replaced with a unit of a different brand or model from the original installation, an implementation plan of action must be submitted to the competent authority of the municipality or county (city) for approval at least 15 days prior to the replacement. After installation, a relative error test and a continuous 168-hour transmission test should be conducted. After the test, a confirmation report shall be submitted to the municipality or county (city) competent authority for review and on-site inspection and confirmation.Any changes other than those specified in the preceding paragraph must be reported to the competent authority of the municipality or county (city) within 30 days of the occurrence of such changes, accompanied by a confirmation report.

依本辦法規定設置之自動監測（視）設施及電子式電度表，其主機、數據採擷及處理系統汰換與原設置之廠牌或型號不同時，應於汰換十五日前，檢具措施說明書，送直轄市、縣（市）主管機關核准，並於裝設後，應執行相對誤差測試查核及連續一百六十八個小時傳輸測試，測試完成後，再檢具確認報告書，經直轄市、縣（市）主管機關審查及現場勘查確認。
前項以外之變更，應於事實發生後三十日內，檢具確認報告書向直轄市、縣（市）主管機關辦理變更。
