Long-Term Care Services Act Article 31
In the event that the person in charge of operations of a long-term care institution is unable to perform their duties for any reason, a deputy who meets the qualifications of a person in charge of operations shall be designated to act on their behalf. If the period of such deputization exceeds thirty days, it shall be reported to the local competent authority for approval.The aforementioned period of deputization shall not exceed one year.

長照機構之業務負責人因故不能執行業務，應指定符合業務負責人資格者代理之。
