Long-Term Care Services Act Article 18
Long-term care (LTC) services listed as specific service items by announcement of the central competent authority shall be provided by LTC personnel.The content of training, continuing education, and on-the-job training for LTC personnel shall take into account regional, cultural, gender, specific disease, and caregiving experience differences.LTC personnel shall complete a required number of continuing education and on-the-job training credits.The central competent authority shall prescribe the regulations concerning the qualifications, training, certification, content and credit recognition of continuing education courses, validity period of certificates, and renewal of LTC personnel credentials.

長照服務之提供，經中央主管機關公告之長照服務特定項目，應由長照人員為之。
長照人員之訓練、繼續教育、在職訓練課程內容，應考量不同地區、族群、性別、特定疾病及照顧經驗之差異性。
長照人員應接受一定積分之繼續教育、在職訓練。
長照人員之資格、訓練、認證、繼續教育課程內容與積分之認定、證明效期及其更新等有關事項之辦法，由中央主管機關定之。
