Act of Human Rights Protection and Compensation for Hansen’s Disease Patients Article 1
This Act is enacted to offer appeasement and compensation to Hansen’s disease patients for the social exclusion, physical and mental pain they suffer due to the isolated treatment policy, as well as to protect their rights to medical and nursing services.Other laws and regulations apply to matters not covered in this Act.

對因隔離治療政策導致社會排除，身心遭受痛苦之漢生病病患，給與撫慰及補償，並保障其醫療及安養權益，特制定本條例。
