Amendments to the Regulations on Selection and Training of Professional Workers Providing Welfare Services for People with Disabilities Article 15-1
A dean (director) or a vice dean (vice director) of welfare service institutions for people with disabilities shall meet one of the following qualifications:1. Hold a social worker certificate in the specialty of disability.2. Graduated from a department or specialty related to medical treatment and nursing, rehabilitation, occupational therapy, physical therapy, education, special education, sociology, social work, social welfare, counseling, psychology, juvenile and children welfare, early childhood education, early intervention, audiology and speech-language pathology, elderly care, or long-term care in a college or a university, and have at least two years of work experience in social welfare agencies (institutions) or community services for people with disabilities.3. Graduated from a college or a university, hold a certificate in the training of professional workers providing welfare service for people with disabilities stipulated in these Regulations, and have at least two years of work experience in social welfare agencies (institutions) or community services for people with disabilities (or at least four years of work experience in social welfare agencies (institutions) if serving in an accommodation institution).4. Graduated from a senior high school, holds a certificate in the training of professional workers providing welfare service for people with disabilities stipulated in these Regulations, and have at least four years of work experience in social welfare agencies (institutions) (or at least six years of work experience as a social worker, nursing personnel, educare giver, or trainer if serving in an accommodation institution).

身心障礙福利機構院長（主任）及副院長（副主任）應具備下列資格之一：
一、領有身心障礙專科社會工作師證書者。
二、大專校院醫學、護理、復健、職能治療、物理治療、教育、特殊教育、社會、社會工作、社會福利、輔導、心理、兒童及少年福利、幼保、早期療育、聽力、語言治療、老人照顧、長期照顧相關科系、所（組）畢業，並具二年以上社會福利機關（構）或身心障礙社區服務工作經驗。
三、大專校院畢業，領有本辦法所定身心障礙者服務人員資格訓練之結業證明，並具二年以上社會福利機關（構）或身心障礙社區服務工作經驗；服務住宿機構者應具四年以上社會福利機關（構）工作經驗。
四、高級中等以上學校畢業，領有本辦法所定身心障礙者服務人員資格訓練之結業證明，並具四年以上社會福利機關（構）工作經驗；服務住宿機構者應具六年以上住宿機構社會工作人員、護理人員、教保員或訓練員服務工作經驗。
