Senior Citizens Welfare Act Article 15
For the elderly who are functionally impaired and require long-term care services, the municipal or city/county competent authorities shall provide subsidies based on the financial conditions of the elderly and their families, as well as the level of disability.The regulations regarding eligible recipients, subsidy standards, and other necessary matters shall be prescribed by the central competent authority.

直轄市、縣（市）主管機關對於有接受長期照顧服務必要之失能老人，應依老人與其家庭之經濟狀況及老人之失能程度提供經費補助。
