Regulations for Cancer Care Quality Assurance Measures Article 16
Medical institutions of cancer control shall conduct pathological tests on all surgically removed organs, tissue, and cytological specimens. Clinical physicians shall provide related clinical information as a reference for pathological tests when submitting the specimens.Histopathologic reports shall provide sufficient information for the reference of clinical physicians, regarding treatment or cancer staging determination.

癌症防治醫療機構對於外科手術所切除之器官、組織及所有細胞診斷之檢體，均應作病理檢查；臨床醫師於送檢時應提供臨床相關資訊，以作為病理檢查之參考。
