Reproductive Health Act Article 6
The competent authorities, when necessary, may enforce public health examination or pre-marital examination.Such examinations shall include the following contents in addition to general health examinations:1. Examinations related to hereditary diseases.2. Examinations related to communicable diseases.3. Examinations related to psychiatric diseases.The criteria for aforementioned examinations shall be determined by the central level competent authorities.

主管機關於必要時，得施行人民健康或婚前檢查。
前項檢查除一般健康檢查外，並包括左列檢查：
一、有關遺傳性疾病檢查。
二、有關傳染性疾病檢查。
三、有關精神疾病檢查。
前項檢查項目，由中央主管機關定之。
