Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act Article 17
No person shall provide tobacco products and/or the essential components of the designated tobacco products to persons under the age of 20, nor force, entice, or use other methods to lure pregnant women or persons under the age of 20 to smoke.The providers in the preceding paragraph who are retailers shall require the buyer to present a valid certificate of age when the age of that customer is otherwise indiscernible. The sale shall not be proceeded if the buyer refuses to comply.
中文原文 菸害防制法第17條
任何人不得供應菸品、指定菸品必要之組合元件予未滿二十歲之人，亦不得以強迫、引誘或其他方式使孕婦或未滿二十歲之人吸菸。
前項供應者屬菸品販賣業，且有難以辨識消費者之年齡情事時，應要求其出示足資證明年齡之文件；消費者拒絕時，應不予販售。
