Prevention of Rare Diseases and Orphan Drug Act Article 34
Medical care institutions may apply for permission to import special nutritional foods essential for the maintenance of life for rare disease patients on ad hoc basis; required documents, application review procedures, and other items to be complied with shall be determined by the central competent authority.
