Regulations for the Inspection and Examination of Imported Medicaments Article 6
Imported Chinese medicine materials shall not change the form of original material or tablets ready for decoction ,and the labels or packages shall indicate name of the medicament , lot number, name and address of the pharmaceutical firms.Reference standard and methods for the examination of imported Chinese medicine materials should abide to those mentioned in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, pharmacopoeias published in Taiwan Herbal Pharmacopeia or otherwise publicly announced by the central health competent authority.

輸入之中藥材，不得改變原藥材或其飲片之形態，並應於標籤或包裝標示品名、批號、藥商之名稱及地址。
輸入之中藥材，其檢驗標準與檢驗方法，應依中華藥典、臺灣中藥典及中央衛生主管機關公告之規定辦理。
