Act Governing Food Safety and Sanitation Article 7
Food business operators shall implement self-management and establish food safety monitoring plans to ensure food sanitation and safety.Food business operators shall test their raw materials, semi-finished products or finished products independently, or deliver them to other analysis agencies (institutions), corporations, or organizations for analysis.Food business operators that are Exchange-Listed, OTC-Listed, or fall under a category and scale designated by the central competent authority in a public announcement shall be equipped with laboratories to perform said self-analysis.The central competent authority shall announce the category and scale of food business operators that shall establish the food safety monitoring plans in Paragraph 1 and conduct analysis in Paragraph 2, the minimum analysis frequency, and other relevant matters in paragraph 2.Upon discovering that food products may pose a risk to sanitation and safety, the food business operators shall immediately cease manufacturing, processing, sale and recall such products actively, and report to the municipal or county (city) competent authority.

食品業者應實施自主管理，訂定食品安全監測計畫，確保食品衛生安全。
食品業者應將其產品原材料、半成品或成品，自行或送交其他檢驗機關（構）、法人或團體檢驗。
上市、上櫃及其他經中央主管機關公告類別及規模之食品業者，應設置實驗室，從事前項自主檢驗。
第一項應訂定食品安全監測計畫之食品業者類別與規模，與第二項應辦理檢驗之食品業者類別與規模、最低檢驗週期，及其他相關事項，由中央主管機關公告。
食品業者於發現產品有危害衛生安全之虞時，應即主動停止製造、加工、販賣及辦理回收，並通報直轄市、縣（市）主管機關。
