Regulations for the Security and the Maintenance of Personal Information Files in Wholesaling and Retailing Western Pharmaceuticals Article 3
The terms used herein are defined as follows:I. Western pharmaceutical wholesalers or retailers: A pharmaceutical firm approved for registration in accordance with Article 27, Paragraph 1 of the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act, whose equity capital exceeding NT$30 million, and whose recruitment of members or obtains personal information of trading counterparts.II. Responsible person: Personnel designated by western pharmaceutical wholesalers or retailers to be responsible for establishing and implementing personal information file security and maintenance plans (hereinafter referred to as "Security and Maintenance Plan(s)").III. Subordinate: Personnel of western pharmaceutical wholesalers or retailers that come in contact with personal information in the course of performing professional duty.IV. Auditor: Personnel designated by western pharmaceutical wholesalers or retailers to be responsible for auditing the implementation and results of Security and Maintenance Plans.The responsible person in Subparagraph 2 and auditor in Subparagraph 4 of the preceding paragraph may not be the same person.

本辦法用詞，定義如下：
一、西藥批發零售業者：指依藥事法第二十七條第一項規定核准登記，且資本額新臺幣三千萬元以上，並有招募會員或可取得交易對象個人資料之業者。
二、專責人員：指由西藥批發零售業者指定，負責個人資料檔案安全維護計畫（以下簡稱安全維護計畫）訂定及執行人員。
三、所屬人員：指西藥批發零售業者，執行業務過程中接觸個人資料之人員。
四、查核人員：指由西藥批發零售業者指定，負責稽核安全維護計畫執行情形及成效之人員。
前項第二款專責人員與第四款查核人員，不得為同一人。
