Regulations Governing the Implementation of the Epidemiological Surveillance and Advance-Alert System for Communicable Diseases Article 8
Matters to be implemented by the school-based surveillance and advance-alert system shall be:1. The central competent authority may, as necessary, designate communicable diseases or symptoms that require surveillance and designate schools voluntarily participating in the system to periodically report relevant information or may collect relevant surveillance data on communicable diseases as a means of implementing the system.2. The central competent authority shall conduct epidemic surveillance based on the results of the reports specified in the above subparagraph.

學校監視及預警系統之辦理事項如下：
一、中央主管機關得視需要指定應監視之傳染病或症狀，並選擇志願參與之學校定期通報相關資料，或以蒐集傳染病相關監測資料之方式辦理。
二、中央主管機關應就前款報告結果，進行疫情監視。
