Communicable Disease Control Act Article 8

The determination, announcement, and removal of epidemic conditions of communicable diseases and their affected areas shall be made by the central competent authority. For category 2 and category 3 communicable diseases, the aforementioned actions shall be done by the local competent authorities and reported to the central competent authority for record-keeping at the same time.The central competent authority shall announce international epidemic conditions or relevant warnings in a timely manner.
