Communicable Disease Control Act Article 32
Medical care institutions shall , in accordance with the regulations of competent authorities, execute infection control measures; and shall prevent the occurrence of infections within the institutions; they shall not refuse, evade, or obstruct the supervision and inspection conducted by the competent authorities.Regulations governing the infection control measures to be implemented by medical care institutions, the baseline criteria of inspection by the competent authorities, and other matters to be complied with shall be decided by the central competent authority.

醫療機構應依主管機關之規定，執行感染管制工作，並應防範機構內發生感染；對於主管機關進行之輔導及查核，不得拒絕、規避或妨礙。
醫療機構執行感染管制之措施、主管機關之查核基準及其他應遵行事項之辦法，由中央主管機關定之。
