Mental Health Act Article 41
The expenses for emergency placement, mandatory hospitalization, and treatment received by severe patients in accordance with relevant provisions of this Act shall be borne by the central competent authority.The central competent authority shall bear the expenses for mandatory community treatment received by severe patients according to relevant provisions of this Act, which the National Health Insurance does not cover.The central competent authority shall establish the standards for the expenses referred to in the preceding two Paragraphs.

嚴重病人依本法相關規定接受緊急安置、強制住院治療之費用，由中央主管機關負擔。
嚴重病人依本法相關規定接受強制社區治療之費用，其不屬全民健康保險給付範圍者，由中央主管機關負擔。
前二項費用標準，由中央主管機關定之。
