Oral Health Act Article 3
The government shall formulate and implement measures for oral disease prevention and oral health care, as well as carry out tasks related to oral health as follows:1. Conduct surveys on the oral health of citizens;2. Promote preventive oral medicine;3. Implement oral health education programs;4. Establish supervision and implement improvements for oral health products;5. Conduct research and studies on oral health and related issues;6. Conduct surveys and research on oral health risk factors, and formulate and implement policies for the prevention of such risk factors;7. Conduct research on the correlation between oral health and overall health;8. Other matters pertaining to the promotion of oral health.Medical treatment for oral diseases shall be included in the National Health Insurance coverage, with the scope of benefits governed in accordance with the National Health Insurance Act.

政府應推行口腔疾病預防及保健工作，並推展下列有關口腔健康事項：
一、口腔健康狀況之調查。
二、口腔預防醫學之推展。
三、口腔健康教育之實施。
四、口腔保健用品之監督與改進。
五、口腔健康問題之研究。
六、口腔健康危害因子之調查、研究及防制政策。
七、口腔健康與全身健康之相關性研究。
八、其他與口腔健康促進有關之事項。
口腔疾病之醫療應納入全民健康保險，其醫療給付範圍，依全民健康保險法之規定辦理。
一、口腔健康狀況之調查。
二、口腔預防醫學之推展。
三、口腔健康教育之實施。
四、口腔保健用品之監督與改進。
五、口腔健康問題之研究。
六、口腔健康危害因子之調查、研究及防制政策。
七、口腔健康與全身健康之相關性研究。
八、其他與口腔健康促進有關之事項。
口腔疾病之醫療應納入全民健康保險，其醫療給付範圍，依全民健康保險法之規定辦理。
