Oral Health Act Article 11
The central competent authority shall establish an Oral Medicine Committee with tasks as follows:1. Draft and propose oral health policies;2. Review epidemiological surveys on oral diseases;3. Review oral disease prevention measures;4. Review the initiatives for the promotion of oral health education;5. Review the initiatives for the promotion of oral health care for pregnant women and infants;6. Review the initiatives for the promotion of oral health care for the elderly and people with disabilities;7. Provide consultation on the promotion of oral health care for school children;8. Review risk factors for oral cancer and other oral health risk factors;9. Provide consultation on the standards and efficacy of oral health products;10. Review matters concerning research and development in oral health;11. Review other matters related to oral health care.The Competent Authority shall determine the number of members, composition, meeting procedures, and other matters related to the organization and powers of the aforementioned Committee.

中央主管機關應設口腔醫學委員會，其任務如下：
一、口腔健康政策之擬議。
二、口腔疾病流行病學調查之審議。
三、口腔疾病預防措施之審議。
四、口腔健康教育推展與宣導之審議。
五、孕產婦、乳幼兒口腔保健推展之審議。
六、老人、身心障礙者口腔保健推展之審議。
七、學童口腔保健推展之諮詢。
八、口腔癌危險因子及其他口腔健康危害因子之審議。
九、口腔保健用品標準及效果之諮詢。
十、口腔健康研究與發展之審議。
十一、其他有關口腔保健之審議。
前項口腔醫學委員會之委員人數、組成與會議程序等組織與職權事項，由中央主管機關定之。
一、口腔健康政策之擬議。
二、口腔疾病流行病學調查之審議。
三、口腔疾病預防措施之審議。
四、口腔健康教育推展與宣導之審議。
五、孕產婦、乳幼兒口腔保健推展之審議。
六、老人、身心障礙者口腔保健推展之審議。
七、學童口腔保健推展之諮詢。
