Medical Care Act Article 99

Municipal and county (city) competent authorities shall establish medical care committees, which shall fulfill the following missions:1. Review of establishment or expansion of medical care institutions;2. Review of medical fee standards;3. Mediation of medical disputes;4. Promotion of medical ethics;5. Review of other medical affairs.The organization, meeting, and other regulations of the medical review committee referred to in the preceding Paragraph shall be established by the municipal or county(city)competent authority.

直轄市、縣（市）主管機關應設置醫事審議委員會，任務如下：
一、醫療機構設立或擴充之審議。
二、醫療收費標準之審議。
三、醫療爭議之調處。
四、醫德之促進。
五、其他有關醫事之審議。
前項醫事審議委員會之組織、會議等相關規定，由直轄市、縣（市）主管機關定之。
