Physicians Act Article 7-1
Physicians may apply for a Diplomate Certificate upon completion of Diplomate training and approval by the competent central authority. The competent central authority may entrust the initial review for Diplomate examination mentioned in the previous item to the association for the related medical specialization.Anyone holding a Physician Certificate and who has completed related Diplomate training may participate in the relevant Diplomate examination. Diplomate branches and examination methods shall be determined by the competent central authority.

醫師經完成專科醫師訓練，並經中央主管機關甄審合格者，得請領專科醫師證書。
前項專科醫師之甄審，中央主管機關得委託各相關專科醫學會辦理初審工作。
領有醫師證書並完成相關專科醫師訓練者，均得參加各該專科醫師之甄審。
專科醫師之分科及甄審辦法，由中央主管機關定之。
