Dietitians Act Article 7
Dietitians may only set up practice after having applied to have the practice registered by the competent authority in the special municipality or county (city) at the place of practice and obtaining the practice license.Practicing dietitians shall receive continuing education and submit documentary proof of completed continued education every six years to renew their practice license.Regulations regarding qualifications, conditions, and documentation to be enclosed to the practice license application, issue, change and reissue of practice license as mentioned in the first paragraph, practice license renewal as mentioned in the preceding paragraph, and other items to be adhered to shall be formulated by the competent central authority.Regulations regarding contents, credits, implementation, documentary proof of completed continued education and other items to be adhered to shall be formulated by the competent central authority.

營養師應向執業所在地直轄市或縣（市）主管機關申請執業登記，領有執業執照，始得執業。
營養師執業，應接受繼續教育，並每六年提出完成繼續教育證明文件，辦理執業執照更新。
第一項申請執業登記之資格、條件、應檢附文件、執業執照發給、換發、補發與前項執業執照更新及其他應遵行事項之辦法，由中央主管機關定之。
第二項營養師接受繼續教育之課程內容、積分、實施方式、完成繼續教育證明文件及其他應遵行事項之辦法，由中央主管機關定之。
營養師執業，應接受繼續教育，並每六年提出完成繼續教育證明文件，辦理執業執照更新。
