Respiratory Therapists Act Article 33
The term of office of directors and supervisors shall be three years. No more than one-half of the directors or supervisors shall be re-elected. The chairman shall be re-elected only once.The elected directors and supervisors of the national union of respiratory therapist associations shall not be limited to the member representatives appointed by municipal or city/county respiratory therapist associations.The member representatives appointed by municipal or city/county respiratory therapist associations to join the national union of respiratory therapist associations are not limited to directors or supervisors of the associations.

理、監事任期均為三年，其連選連任者不得超過二分之一；理事長之連任，以一次為限。
呼吸治療師公會全國聯合會理事、監事之當選，不以直轄市、縣（市）呼吸治療師公會選派參加之會員代表為限。
直轄市、縣（市）呼吸治療師公會選派參加其全國聯合會之會員代表，不以其理事、監事為限。
