The fingerprint data of offenders shall be produced by judicial police authorities using one of the following methods:1. Paper Records: Fill in the offender's basic information on a fingerprint card, and use black ink to take prints of all the offender's fingerprints, including rolled, flat, and palm prints, on the fingerprint card.2. Electronic Records: Operate on the terminal of the fingerprint computer system, enter the offender's basic information, and use a fingerprint scanner to capture digital images of all the offender's fingerprints, including rolled, flat, and palm prints.

加害人指紋資料應依下列方式，由司法警察機關擇一製作：
一、書面資料：於指紋卡上填寫加害人基本資料，以黑色油墨捺印加害人全部指紋之三面印、平面印及掌紋於指紋卡上。
二、電子檔案：於指紋電腦系統終端機上作業，輸入加害人基本資料後，以指紋掃描器採取加害人全部手指指紋之三面印、平面印及掌紋等數位影像。
