Regarding the implementation methods of continuing education for nurse practitioners, in the event that the cumulative points gained from practitioner-related credit courses offered by a graduate institute during a semester exceed 15 points, only 15 points will be counted, except for those under Paragraph 1 of Article 14 of the Regulations Governing Practice Registration and Continuing Education of Medical Personnel.For nurse practitioners who practice in areas with insufficient medical resources as recognized by the central competent authority or are stationed abroad on official missions to engage in diplomatic-related international medical care, the calculation weight for their continuing education credits may be doubled.

專科護理師繼續教育之實施方式，除依醫事人員執業登記及繼續教育辦法第十四條第一項規定辦理外，其為研究所專科護理師相關學分課程部分，每學期積分超過十五點者，以十五點計。
於中央主管機關認定之醫療資源不足地區執業或因公派駐國外從事外交有關國際醫療之專科護理師，其繼續教育課程積分，得加倍採計。
