Public Assistance Act Article 13
Municipality and county (city) competent authorities shall periodically investigate the low-income and middle-to-low-income households every year.For those who cease to receive the subsidies because of an increase of income or assets, the municipality and county (city) competent authorities shall actively reassess their needs, assist them in applying for other related welfare subsidies or allowances, and shall provide or transfer them to the relevant employment service based on their needs.

直轄市及縣（市）主管機關每年應定期辦理低收入戶、中低收入戶調查。
直轄市及縣（市）主管機關依前項規定調查後，對因收入或資產增加而停止扶助者，應主動評估其需求，協助申請其他相關福利補助或津貼，並得視需要提供或轉介相關就業服務。
主管機關應至少每五年舉辦低收入戶及中低收入戶生活狀況調查，並出版統計報告。
若社會經濟情勢有特殊改變，得不定期增加調查次數。
