The transfers and referrals of insurance beneficiaries by contracted medical care institutions shall be based on medical requirements.Contracted medical care institutions shall administer appropriate procedures and provide proper assistance to insurance beneficiaries when their conditions are stabilized. They are discharged from the hospital or transferred to chronic care wards.

保險醫事服務機構間辦理保險對象之轉介（診），應依其醫療需要為之。
提供保險對象住院診療之保險醫事服務機構，於其病情穩定，應出院或轉送慢性病房者，應予適當之處置及協助。
